Steer Super is the SMSF administration brand of Antill Business Accountants Pty Ltd (ABN 83 122 234 333, Registered Tax Agent No. 26198517), based in Mona Vale, NSW. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect your personal information when you use our website and services.
Information we collect
To establish and administer your SMSF, we collect: your name and contact details; your Tax File Number (TFN); your date of birth; your residential address; banking details for direct debit billing; and details of your fund's members, trustee structure, and investments.
How we use your Tax File Number
Your TFN is collected and used only for purposes permitted under the Tax File Number Guidelines 2011, including SMSF registration, ATO reporting, and fund administration. We do not use your TFN for any other purpose, and we do not disclose it except where required or permitted by law.
Who we share your information with
We share your information with: Class (our SMSF administration software provider, who processes your fund's financial data); your fund's independent SMSF auditor (required annually under the SIS Act); and, where applicable, NowInfinity (our document generation and e-signature provider) to prepare your trust deed and related paperwork. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with any bank, broker or platform for commission or referral purposes.
How we store and protect your information
Your information is stored using bank-level encryption, both in transit and at rest, across the systems operated by Antill Business Accountants, Class, and our other named service providers. Access is restricted to staff who need it to administer your fund.
Your rights
You can ask us to access or correct the personal information we hold about you at any time. Contact us through the support options on our website.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your personal information, contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
