Terms of Service

Last updated: 7 September 2026

These terms govern your use of Steer Super and the services provided by Antill Business Accountants Pty Ltd (ABN 83 122 234 333, Registered Tax Agent No. 26198517).

Our services

Steer Super provides SMSF establishment, administration, accounting and tax compliance services. We do not hold an Australian Financial Services Licence and we do not provide financial product advice, including advice on whether an SMSF is appropriate for you, or on contributions, pensions, insurance or investments. Information provided through this website and our services is factual only. You should seek advice from a licensed financial adviser before deciding to establish or contribute to an SMSF.

Fees and billing

Our fees are set out in full on our Pricing page. Your annual fee is billed via monthly direct debit in 12 equal instalments. Your fund's independent audit fee is billed separately, only once the audit is complete, and is never collected in advance. If a direct debit payment is returned, you will receive a grace period and a plain-English reminder before any late fee applies. Fees are GST inclusive unless stated otherwise.

No lock-in

We do not charge an exit fee or a wind-up fee. If you choose to leave Steer Super, we will provide your full fund records and support a free transfer to another provider.

No commissions

We do not receive commissions, kickbacks or referral fees from any bank, broker, platform or other provider. Our fee for administering your fund is our only revenue from that engagement.

Your obligations

You must provide accurate and complete information when establishing and maintaining your fund, and you remain responsible for meeting your trustee obligations under the Superannuation Industry (Supervision) Act 1993 (SIS Act) at all times.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any loss arising from our services is limited to the value of the fees you have paid us for the relevant service. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability under the Australian Consumer Law.

Disputes

If you have a concern about our services, contact us first so we can try to resolve it directly. This does not limit your right to make a complaint to the Tax Practitioners Board, the Australian Financial Complaints Authority, or any other relevant regulator.

Ending this agreement

You may end this agreement at any time, free of charge, as described under "No lock-in" above. We may end this agreement if you fail to pay fees when due after a reasonable opportunity to remedy this, or if you fail to meet your trustee obligations in a way that prevents us from continuing to act for your fund.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
